Jim Granger started Granger Contracting Company by going door-to-door and asking homeowners if they needed odd jobs completed.

1984

  • First employee was hired and remained with the company until retirement in 2020.
  • First store fixture installation job completed.

1992

Established relationship with our oldest client whose partnership continues today.

1994

Formed partnership with our first big-box retail client.

1997

  • Matt Levenson, now Co-Owner and Co-President, joined the company.
  • Business revenue more than doubled from the previous year.

1998

  • Finalist for Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the Construction category.
  • Performing business in over 30 states.

1999

  • Began high-volume rollout program for a prominent international brand.
  • Business increased 77% from previous year.

2000

  • Began remodel program on college & university campuses for a retail client.
  • Broke ground and began construction on new office building, which met our growing needs through 2018.

2002

  • Began programmatic maintenance services for a client with unique construction objectives.

2003

  • Established an in-house IT department.
  • Business grew over 90% from the previous year.

2004

  • N-STORE Services was formed to support the growing need for non-union labor.
  • Began new-store fixture installations, rollouts and remodels in the retail locations of an international business services provider.

2008

  • Awarded additional territories from the company’s first programmatic maintenance client.
  • Revenue grew 50% from previous year.

2009

  • N-STORE and Granger became wholly owned subsidiaries of GNH Services, Inc.

2010

  • Licensed to perform business operations in all 50 states.
  • Internal IT team developed a start-to-finish job process tool and a custom application to efficiently manage a large programmatic maintenance account.

2012

Recipient of the Dexter + Chaney Innovator of the Year Award for our use of technology.

2013

The GNH family of companies celebrated it’s 30-year anniversary.

Achieved highest revenue in company history.

Added Grocery & Healthcare Facilities markets to portfolio.

GNH family of companies consolidated into one larger location.
